About the Site
Situated at the gateway to the Lake District, Bardsea Leisure is not far from the historic, picturesque market town of Ulverston. Our privately owned 10 acre park is sheltered within a former quarry, which has been extensively landscaped and is always beautifully maintained. The park is open all year round for touring caravans, campervans and trailer tents.
Our family shower rooms have been recently refurbished, featuring under-floor heating throughout, resulting in regular praise from our customers. The children have an adventure playground to explore, a fishing pond (only barb-less hooks are used) and many other attractions and activities are close by.
All of our static caravan's are privately owned and we sell new and used static caravan to be sited on the park. The static caravan season runs from 1st March until the end of November. Each of our 171 static and touring pitches are fully serviced, all-weather pitches, featuring mains drains, electric and satellite TV. We also serve hot and cold food to eat in or take-out. Opening hours are displayed near the main office.
To the left-hand side of the park entrance, there is a dog walking area, although it is site policy that all pets must be kept on a lead at all times.
After hours, the park is managed by an on-site warden.
For the 2011 season we are pleased to announce that we have introduced a further amount of carp to our fishing pond.
